Whether I am collaborating with my own design team or an outside agency, creating a core or trend-driven style guide is a special endeavor. I have always thought of a style guide as an ecosystem — every element present in the guide serves an important purpose. From the character art to the patterns, each asset must work together seamlessly so the user will have endless choices when creating products.
